I don't have anything funny to write here. I'm running out of jokes. Is that surprising? Not to me.

It's NOT "Far From..."

This song will forever make me think of sitting in front of the Brite Spot diner and the uncertainty of the new beginnings that were to come. P.S. Dear Brite Spot I still have your Magic 8-Ball. The plan was to take it around all over the country and take photos of it in front of crazy sites and then mail it back to you. Like "Oh heyI ran away and look at all the zany adventures I've been on... weeee" "8 Ball in front of Grand Canyon" - Check "8 Ball with a snow man" - Check "8 Ball in the mouth of an alligator" - Check as well. But yeah now the 8 Ball is sadly residing in a box in the valley. One day it will return and sadly no one will likely remember who he was. (Kinda like that kid in "Flight of the Navigator")

FUNNY WORDS

This is our album "Welcome The Night"
You're older now, More grown up. You like different things.
Give it a listen. You may dig it.

I love this record. It was a shitty time in my life but for me I feel some of the best art comes from those trying times.
Some of my favorite records do at least
Also most of my favorite records are usually the ones that were the "weird" album. Ha.
Like "Tumbleweed Connection" by Elton John. Best record he ever made. Seriously. An absolutely fabulous male British pianist writing an American folk / country western album?? Ha. Why wouldn't that be awesome?? Ha.
Very few songs can top "My Fathers Gun"

But yeah, back to the album...
They were trying and transitional times but also some great memories as well.
Living in the Hesby house, waking up, walking out back and recording. Going to the karaoke bar in Korea Town at night after we were finished.
Met some great friends and had to go through the darkness to come out the other side a much happier and and stronger human today than the person I was then.

Also some of my favorite lyrics I've written are on this record for sure. However heads up please don't bother read them on any of the lyrics sites ha.
Because as it goes that when the album was initially leaked on Limewire or Napster some excitable fan in Indonesia decided to take it upon him or herself to attempt to decipher what I was saying and then those were the lyrics that stuck and were uploaded and coped by literally EVERY SINGLE LAST F*CKING SEARCH ENGINE. Ha Ha.
It's funny but ridiculous.

If any one of you can miraculously ever get that shit changed I will let you in to the show of your choice for free for the rest of your life once we hopefully all get back to playing rock n' roll shows again. I am serious.

Anyways. That's my ramble.

Oh and one last thing.
It's "From the Last, Last Call"
meaning I am writing this song from my final last call.
It's not "Far from" in case you were wondering.
Even though you weren't. That's totally fine too.
I'm delirious. It's late. The world is melting.

Ok. Goodnight and thanks for listening / downloading / loving or hating.
Either way it's all good by me.

Love, Kristopher
